IF you do need to disconnect the battery, follow this simple procedure to re-set the airbag and ABS lights.

Switch ignition to position two i.e. all warning lights on.
Test all switch functions work.... horn, indicators, wipers, washers, main beam and headlamp flash.

If happy, start the car...... Do not panic if the ABS and Air bag lights stay on ...it's the contact ring senor needing re-calibrating. To do this, simply turn the steering wheel fully anti-clockwise, then fully clockwise.... the lights should go out.
