A Members Day was held in Carlisle at the Mercedes main dealer. Steve (Loff) won the best presented car of the day.
After a long drive from Cheshire via the M6 and several sets of roadworks we were the last people to arrive at the Mercedes dealership.
After I asked for the cars to be rearranged for the photos, we could at last get a look at each other's cars.
Loff (Steve) has added additional driving lights on the front bumper to his BBz, although not an easy job it looks the part and improves night time driving in his prefaced lifted car. It appears that different light on later cars is not just cosmetic. The biggest thing on his car was his car was his 15ft caravan. I have never seen a fullsize van behind an A Class, his chipped diesel is more than able to cope.
Turner's A Class is a Classic Auto and looks great following the fitting of alloys wheels and widow tinting. It just goes to show how much difference changing the wheels can make to one's car.
John's Evo still looks great, complete with chrome goodies and baby-benz.com insignia on his number plates.
My car was the most standard of the bunch, the only addons being the alround mudflaps. These help keep the rear screen clean and help make the car look finished on the road.
The only disappointment of the day was the lack of involvement from the dealer, pity really as this was the dealer I bought my car from.
We moved on the a local pub for some soft drinks, not before we were treated to a demo of caravan + A Class manovering.
Thanks to Steve(loff) for organising the day. Thanks to all the members who attended the day:
