Fitting chrome grill slats

These Chrome / stainless steel grill slats stick over the original grill and match in with the original chrome top and bottom grill slats.

What you need:
Chrome grill slats (Picture1). These were bought from eBay and are stainless steel, they have self adhesive strips on the rear (Picture2).
Something to clean grill on car before fitting.


First clean the original grill to remove grease and dirt before fitting. I used Autoglym intensive tar remover – before picture of my car
Layout the slats first to work out which slat fits where (Picture3).
The slats have a curved lip on the bottom, use this to line up on the bottom of each grill section.
Remove the backing from the double sided tape and line up the slat with the grill.
When positioned correctly, press down firmly – picture of halfway below



Repeat with rest of slats. Completed job below.
